Temporary Office for 
Architecture, Sustainability, and Transformation

TOAST is an architecture office made up of one person, who very much enjoys the process of working together with other people. The office collaborates with a wide international network of talented architects, landscape architects, engineers, weirdos, builders, designers, biologists, non-profits, companies, municipalities, and DIY clients. TOAST is interested in solving design problems together with the owners, inhabitants, daily users, and social stakeholders of buildings and spaces, and uses architecture and planning, among other tools, to improve the places we live, work, and play. 

With over 15 years of experience working on competitions, sketch phases, and masterplanning, TOAST has developed the ability to find simple solutions to big, complicated problems.  The office still enjoys competition, but that accumulated expertise is now dedicated to serving (mostly) private clients. TOAST is just warm bread, but it is a fantastic vessel for different tastes.  The office is not bound by a specific style, aesthetic, program, or design ethos, so each project reflects the rich complexity of the relationship between context and client - the bread and butter.
