In this bungalow transformation, small rooms were combined to create generous social living spaces. The original pine floors were refinished, the existing woodwork and doors were repaired, and new plaster mouldings and built in furniture was designed to match the historic 1930s detailing.
The bathrooms were updated with terrazzo and colored tiles, and the kitchen was converted to a monolithic island with a single slab of green Italian marble.
